LFC Hands on Airshow For The City of Largo Highland Rec Center

We are pleased to announce that a Hands on Airshow will take place for the Highland Rec “Cool Kids” Summer Camp on Monday, June 9th, 2025, and Monday, June 23rd, 2025. In the event of inclement weather on these Mondays, Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, and Tuesday, June 24th, 2025, will serve as alternative dates. 

 A bus will transport a group of 25 kids to the field on each day. 

  • Laptop computers will be setup with flight simulators so the kids can get the basics of flying a RC plane.

  • The kids will have the opportunity to test their skill at flying one of the clubs trainer planes with an instructor.

  • Airshow

  • Q & A Display
