The summer of 2019 saw a fantastic group of ten kids, aged 8 to 12, dive headfirst into the exciting world of RC flight as part of our Summer Camp Program. Over four action-packed days, they learned the ropes of flying First-Person View (FPV) and other RC aircraft, guided by the expert hands of our dedicated LFC club members. The culmination of their hard work and training was a thrilling airshow on the fifth day, where they proudly demonstrated their newfound skills to friends and family.
Unfortunately, the program was put on hold due to the disruptions of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are now incredibly excited to announce our intention to revive this incredible experience in July of 2025. However, the success of these Summer Camps hinges entirely on the support of our volunteer LFC club members. Your help is essential to make this program a reality once more. Members passionate about sharing your love of flight with the next generation please consider helping! To learn more about how to get involved, we encourage you to attend an upcoming club meeting. Please refer to the Upcoming Event Calendar below for the next meeting's details. We hope to see you there!
These are not Largo Flying Club Photos, but I think our members will like them.
